  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum incorporating literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.

  • Plan and execute daily lesson plans that promote active learning and developmental milestones.

  • Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all children.

  • Use behavior management techniques to support social-emotional growth and address behavioral challenges effectively.

  • Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs.

  • Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques when necessary.

  • Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of all children in accordance with child welfare standards.

  • Maintain accurate records related to children's development, assessments, and standardized testing results.

  • Support classroom organization, including materials preparation and maintaining a clean learning environment.

  • Participate in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, literacy, STEM activities, and classroom management.

        Skills

  • Strong knowledge of childhood development theories and practices.

  • Experience with curriculum development across various subjects including literacy, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.

  • Proven classroom management skills with the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

  • Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings; familiarity with toddler care is a plus.

  • Ability to implement behavior management strategies effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners.

  • Knowledge of special education principles and early intervention programs.

  • Ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners including those requiring additional support or accommodations.

  • Experience with standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment.

  • Familiarity with child welfare policies and best practices in childcare settings.
