Toddler Assistant Teacher

About the Role

Childcare Solutions Consulting Company is seeking a caring and dependable Toddler Assistant Teacher to support a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where toddlers can explore, develop independence, and build important early learning skills. This role works alongside the Lead Toddler Teacher to support daily learning activities, classroom routines, and each child’s individual developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate learning activities that support each child’s individual needs and learning pace.

• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging toddler classroom environment.

• Support children’s social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development through play, learning activities, and daily routines.

• Provide additional support for children with identified developmental needs or individualized plans.

• Build positive relationships with children and families and encourage family involvement in children’s learning and development.

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and other staff to provide consistent, responsive, high-quality care.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Caring, patient, dependable, and passionate about working with toddlers.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Ability to follow classroom plans, routines, and direction from the Lead Teacher.

• Willingness to learn and follow Ohio childcare licensing requirements, CSCC policies, curriculum, and the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS).

• Commitment to required training, ongoing professional development, and growth as an early childhood educator.
