Preschool Assistant Teacher

About the Role

Childcare Solutions Consulting Company is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Assistant Teacher to support a positive, engaging classroom where young children can learn, explore, and grow. This role works alongside the Lead Preschool Teacher to support daily learning activities, classroom routines, and the individual developmental needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Teacher with developmentally appropriate learning activities that support children’s individual needs and learning styles.

• Help maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging preschool classroom environment.

• Support children’s social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development through learning activities and daily routines.

• Provide additional support for children with identified developmental needs or individualized plans.

• Build positive relationships with children and families and support family involvement in children’s learning.

• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher and other staff to provide consistent, high-quality care and education.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Caring, patient, dependable, and passionate about working with young children.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

• Ability to follow classroom plans, routines, and direction from the Lead Teacher.

• Willingness to learn and follow Ohio childcare licensing requirements, CSCC policies, curriculum, and the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS).

• Commitment to required training, ongoing professional development, and growth as an early childhood educator.
