About the Role
Childcare Solutions Consulting Company is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool/Pre-K Assistant Teacher to support engaging classroom experiences that prepare young children for continued learning and success. This role works alongside Lead Teachers to support daily instruction, classroom routines, and the individual developmental needs of preschool and Pre-K children.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Lead Teachers with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate learning activities.
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, organized, and engaging classroom environment.
Support children’s academic, social-emotional, language, and physical development through instruction, play, and daily routines.
Provide additional support for children with identified developmental needs or individualized learning plans.
Encourage positive interactions, independence, and age-appropriate classroom skills.
Collaborate with teachers and families to support children’s learning, development, and classroom success.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Caring, patient, dependable, and enthusiastic about working with preschool and Pre-K children.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Ability to follow classroom plans, routines, and direction from Lead Teachers.
Willingness to learn and follow Ohio childcare licensing requirements, CSCC policies, curriculum, and the Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards (ELDS).
Commitment to required training, ongoing professional development, and growth as an early childhood educator.
