About the Role
Childcare Solutions Consulting Company is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Pre-K Teacher to create an engaging learning environment that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond. This role leads the classroom, implements developmentally appropriate curriculum, supports children’s academic and social-emotional growth, and builds strong partnerships with families.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons in literacy, math, STEM, physical development, and other early learning areas.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence, curiosity, and active learning.
Monitor children’s development through observations and assessments and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs.
Use positive behavior-management strategies to support social-emotional development and classroom success.
Communicate regularly with families about children’s progress, development, and individual needs.
Maintain a safe, organized learning environment and accurate classroom and assessment records.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience teaching in a preschool, Pre-K, or early childhood setting.
Strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
Experience with lesson planning, curriculum implementation, and early childhood assessment.
Strong classroom management and positive behavior-support skills.
Ability to adapt instruction for different learning needs and provide additional support when needed.
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
