About the Role
Childcare Solutions Consulting Company is seeking a flexible and dependable Float Teacher to support classrooms throughout the center. Float Teachers work with children across multiple age groups, assist Lead Teachers with daily classroom activities, and provide coverage as needed to help maintain safe, engaging, and well-supported learning environments.
Key Responsibilities
Provide classroom support and coverage across infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age programs as needed.
Assist Lead Teachers with learning activities, classroom routines, transitions, meals, and daily care.
Maintain active supervision and help ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for children.
Engage children in developmentally appropriate learning, play, and social-emotional experiences.
Support classroom organization, cleanliness, and preparation of learning materials.
Follow classroom plans, childcare licensing requirements, and CSCC policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working with different age groups and classrooms.
Caring, patient, and able to build positive relationships with children.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
Ability to adapt quickly to different classroom routines and teacher needs.
Willingness to complete required childcare training and ongoing professional development.
